Author C.W. Smith will discuss his novel ‘Girl Flees Circus’ at Allen library

Author C.W. Smith will discuss his latest novel, Girl Flees Circus, at the Allen Public Library at 7:30 p.m. July 6.

The book, the 10th novel by the retired SMU English professor, chronicles the adventures of 19-year-old pilot Katie Burke after she crash lands her biplane in the small town of No Name, N.M., in 1928.

Admission to the Allen library program is free, and the event will be streamed live on the city of Allen’s ACTV at actv.org. It will also be available at YouTube.com/AllenCityTV.
