Mavericks’ Jaden Hardy to miss rest of summer league, McKinley Wright IV out indefinitely

There are just two games remaining on Dallas’ Vegas schedule.

The Dallas Mavericks have decided to shut down Jaden Hardy for the rest of the 2023 NBA Summer League due to a shoulder contusion.

McKinley Wright is also being labeled as out indefinitely with an ankle sprain, and with just two games remaining on the schedule, he is likely to miss both.

According to NBA Insider Marc Stein, the decision to sit Hardy for the rest of the games in Vegas is precautionary.

Through three games, Hardy has averaged 23 points per game with 5.3 rebounds. Wright, only appeared in two games and averaged 8.5 points while shooting .538 from the floor during those contests.
