Baylor’s Adam Flagler agrees to deal with Thunder after going undrafted

Flagler was one of three guards to average at least 15 points for the Bears last season.

Baylor guard Adam Flagler has found an NBA home.

After going unselected in Thursday night’s draft, Flagler agreed to a deal with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Baylor men’s basketball team officially announced the signing Friday evening.

Flagler spent three seasons at Baylor, leading the team in scoring with an average of 15.6 points per game. He was one of three guards to average at least 15 points for the Bears, along with Lewisville native Keyonte George and LJ Cryer.

He was with the Baylor program since the 2020-21 campaign, averaging nearly 30 minutes per game for the Bears across three seasons. He shot 42.6% from the field and 40% from 3-point range in 2022-23, earning Associated Press All-American honorable mention and All-Big 12 first-team honors.

Originally from Duluth, Ga., Flagler wasn’t heavily recruited out of high school and spent his freshman season with Presbyterian College, where he averaged 15.9 points. He made history with the Bears, setting the program’s all-time NCAA Tournament scoring mark with 135 points.

Flagler closed out his collegiate career averaging 13 points, 3.1 assists and 2.3 rebounds.
