Texas A&M lands commitment from 4-star WR Jaylan Hornsby

The Aggies have been on a hot streak with the 2024 recruiting class.

Texas A&M landed a commitment from 4-star wide receiver Jaylan Hornsby, he announced on Twitter Saturday afternoon.

Listed at 6-foot-2, 200 pounds by On3, Hornsby was deciding between Texas A&M and Penn State before he made his final decision on the Aggies. He was also ranked the No. 72 receiver in the nation in the class of 2024 and the No. 7 receiver in New Jersey.

The Aggies have been on a hot streak after getting a trio of commitments from 4-star tight end Eric Karner and 4-star linebacker Jordan Lockhart along with 3-star offensive line recruit Coen Echols last week.

The Aggies now have 15 hard commitments for the 2024 recruiting class, according to 247 Sports, and are ranked No. 13 in the nation in that regard. Hornsby was the third wide receiver in that group, joining Drelon Miller and Debron Gatling.
