Monument Realty played leapfrog — again.

The full-service brokerage firm headquartered at The Star in Frisco was the No. 1 small company in its Top 100 outing in 2020 and then climbed to our top midsize company last year.

No company had ever gone from one top spot to another in a larger category.

This year, Monument made another remarkable leap, catapulting to the No. 1 spot among our largest organizations.

CEO Eddie Burns says growth has been fueled in part by sidling up with the Texas Rangers and with the Dallas Cowboys and its superstar quarterback, Dak Prescott.

These relationships give Monumenters a sense of mission in their ability to give back to the community, he said. “We can help in ways we really just dreamed possible before.”

One example?

One of its agents heard about Jackson Gutierrez, who at 19 was in a terrible accident while driving back to Dallas from California and lost both legs.

“We held the Dak Prescott Faith Fight Finish Charity Event and raised $10,000 for Jackson’s procedures and recovery,” Burns said. “Jackson still has some work to do, but he’s moving in a positive direction — continuing to recover from multiple procedures and hopes to soon be in prosthetics.

“I’m so glad that we’re in a position to provide some help for him and his family.”

Monument’s bragging points include a competitive split structure for its real estate professionals, bonuses and sales contests such as trips to Las Vegas.

Apparently he’s pretty good at it.
